Smitsloo, at its ‘Haarlemmer Shopping Centre’ project, entered into a long-term lease contract with Albert Heijn for a new town supermarket of ca. 2500 m². This is twice the retail area of the existing shop, so that one of the biggest Albert Heijns in the inner-city areas of the Netherlands has been built. Besides Albert Heijn, a Gall & Gall outlet gravitated here too. Located, for years now, in the offices of the ‘Haarlemmer Offices’ complex are several social businesses / offices. In the summer of 2016, after major rebuilding work, the fitness formula Vrouwfit signed a lease agreement for ca. 600 m² (above Albert Heijn). The complex is situated just off the City ring-road with ample parking in the built-in underground car park (Haarlemmerstraat car park) and on the opposite side of the street (Kaasmarkt car park).
